Hello everyone! Can you believe it's already been 3 months into 2025? The fact that I write these every month makes me very conscious of time passing, which may lead to an existential crisis for some, but perhaps venting in a WiiLink news post is not a good idea. We have a bit more news to share with you today, so please take a look.

WiiLink WFC... Alpha? Delta.

We got a bit of confusion by some users about this, but no, this isn't a April Fools prank! WiiLink WFC for Nintendo DS is now on Delta, the multi-platform emulator for iOS. All games are still currently in testing, and we are still developing WiiLink WFC for a full proper release, but you can play games such as Mario Kart DS, online on your iPhones and iPads. Forming links

We're proud to announce a new segment to the newsletter in Forming Links. Forming Links will be a semi-regular segment in our newsletter interviewing channel devs, WiiLink Originals personnel, and other members who do work behind the scenes! Nintendo Channel is back again, again, again! Videos are now faster to load than ever before, and new videos are available. We actually promise to keep this up this time. Please believe us.

Returning from the dead

Obsolete Online, a new WiiLink Original, will cover obsolete online services, and its history. The new series by Kolton Ramos will be coming some time in 2025. Stay tuned for more information.

A brand new brew

Homebrew Tea officially returns this month in April! In its new episodes, the series will grow to cover homebrew news for all consoles, not being exclusive to Nintendo consoles.

That's it for this issue of WiiLink News! We had a lot more to announce this time around, and we're getting back on top of things. As of me writing this, I have just gotten off a very exhausting trip to England, and I will probably rest before working myself. But then again, it's all a team effort! I would like to continue doing Forming Links as a way to show that - WiiLink is a home to such a wide range of people, groups and values, it's not one person doing everything, and you should never attribute it as such. There will be people out there who will attempt to absorb everyone around them and pretend they're the only person worth following, and will do anything to get to that point, but this isn't the place for that. Let's not over complicate this - we just deliver pizza for your Wii.
